Hi, I'm Lisa — a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for dogs. Whether it's their loyalty, their playfulness, or the way they seem to just know when you need them most, dogs have always brought something truly special to my life.

Before following my heart into the world of dogs, I spent years working professionally in children and family services. That experience shaped who I am — it taught me the real meaning of trust, care, and keeping the people (and animals!) in your charge safe and happy. Those values don't switch off; they come with me on every single walk.

My journey took a deeply personal turn when my own child, who has a disability, needed a little extra support. I trained our dog myself to be their companion, and watching that relationship grow and change our family's day-to-day life has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. It showed me firsthand just how powerful the bond between a dog and their person can be — and it inspired me to build something new.

Barking Mad Dog Walking Service's moniker is a nod to the neurodivergence of my family's life-lived experience, and we are all dog mad! It is our passion-led dog walking service, created with love, intention, and a genuine commitment to the fun, safety, and well-being of every dog I walk. This is more than a business to me — it's a new chapter for our family, built around everything I love most.
